Greetings to you all – Welcome

MISSION:

Building Tomorrow’s Leaders Today.
Hold fast to the things of our ancestors. Hold fast to the balances and protection of our values. They will hold us today, as in the past.

VISION:

Work for the people, it matters not who.
Do whatever is required,
At all times, taking care of ourselves

Te Puna Hauora ki Uta ki Tai is a grassroots Kaupapa Māori community mental health and Whānau Ora health organization, dedicated to collaborative relationships for the purpose of improving health, supporting leadership, social attainment and development opportunities for children, youth, adults and families in Tauranga Moana and outlying areas.  The organisation has a strong foundation and history, spanning over 20 years which has equipped us for a robust and lasting future.

We provided services as part of Tauranga Hospital for over 20 years, and have been operating as an independent, not-for-profit Trust, trading as Te Puna Hauora ki Uta ki Tai, since September 2009.

We are planning to build a new building, and in our plans, as well as a base for staff and where we can see people, we are making a place where community members who are lonely, lost, or wanting to contribute – or just have a place to be – can come.

Partner with us to support members of our community who are lonely, feeling lost, or want to contribute – in personal growth and leadership – Give now.

Building tomorrow’s leaders today

All our services are strengths-based where whānau are encouraged and supported to pursue their own Whānau Ora goals and plans.
